I love recycling fabric! Here is my latest project. So far I’ve made a little handbag and a knitting basket out of one leg of my hubbies old jeans.
One basket done! And working on another small one…
This week’s progress
This is week 2’s progress.
A quick embroidery project for a lovely textured cushion.
My daughter loves whales, so when I asked her what she would like on a cushion, the answer was a whale. At that stage I had to travel to America, so I was delighted to have something to do on the plane. I must admit working with the beads during a flight was rather ‘fun’….
I have fallen in love with something that I’ve stopped doing years ago, when I started working full time. I can still remember my first embroidery project that I did with my mom when I was a teenager ;-). And now many many years later, my kids are all grown up and I found myself…
I’ve had some time off and during this time I could quickly complete another project. I quite enjoyed doing this project as it is the first time with beads and although I had to stop for a day to drive to Totnes to go and get some more beads. I do think it came out…
I am a beginner crocheter and this was my first pattern project. I must admit, I really enjoyed it and I think my cats are very happy with the result! Especially the catnip in the head of the cat.
I’ve enjoyed the Beginners Pottery short course at Plymouth College of Art so much that I just had to go back and do the Intermediate Pottery class. It is just so much fun! At the end of this I will have so many pots and I am not sure what to do with it all….
