It has been a very very long time since I’ve done embroidery.  I almost think I haven’t done that since I had kids, and both my kids are in their twenties now.

There is this fantastic new place called MakeAt140 and on Wednesday evening they have a creative night where you can go and be creative, drink coffees/teas and eat cake!  My sort of place!  So I started going, and I noticed a young lady doing embroidery.  That was it!  The bug bit me!  So am starting again!

This is a crewel embroidery motif on a white pillow case:

 

And this is my current project that I am going to turn into a cushion:

 

Also adding some texture to this lovely fabric so I can make a cushion.
