I’ve always admired people making soft toys.  However I thought that it would just be too hard to do.

When I saw I could make an ITH kitty, I thought I’d give it a try.

ITH is making something In The Hoop of an embroidery machine, so there is normally very little sewing involved. This means that you don’t have to cut multiple of delicate pieces and then try and line it up and sewing it.  You have a few square or rectangles, and it turns into something beautiful before your eyes, just by adding layer by layer on the embroidery hoop.

Here are photos of my project.  I think I will be making many more of these, although I might makes some changes to the design.
