3D Printed Vernier Holder – A Handy Little Project

I recently 3D printed a simple but incredibly useful holder for my vernier caliper. It’s one of those small projects that makes a big difference on the workbench — no more leaving the vernier lying around loose, or trying to find a clear spot to tuck it away safely.

The design wasn’t mine — I found it and it turned out to be just right. The holder has a snug slot for the vernier so it stays secure when stored.

What makes it even better is that the model includes extra slots for my touch pen and the focus tool I use with my laser printer. Having all three items neatly stored together has made things much more organised and efficient.

The print took just under two hours using PLA and came out perfectly, with no supports needed. It’s designed to sit on the bench or shelf.

This was a quick, satisfying print that solved a small but persistent annoyance.
