One of my favourite creative projects has had a fresh update — my iLove keyring range is now available as laser-engraved designs!

These started life as machine embroidery patterns, combining clean country outlines with a simple heart to mark the idea of place — a personal connection to where we’re from, where we’ve been, or where we feel at home. Now, I’ve taken that same concept and adapted it for laser engraving, giving the designs a new feel and a new level of precision.

There’s something satisfying about translating stitched artwork into a different medium. I spent time redrawing each country outline, simplifying the details just enough to suit engraving while still keeping the original character. The engraved designs are sharp, minimal, and versatile — and I love how they look on wood.

This update has opened up new possibilities: different finishes, sizes, and even layering techniques. I’ve enjoyed the challenge of thinking through what works best in each format — and I’m excited to explore this further.
