👻 Spooky Season Sparkle: My Handmade Wooden Halloween Earrings

There’s something about autumn that always gets my creative energy flowing — cooler evenings, warm cups of hot chocolate, and of course, Halloween just around the corner! This year, I decided to get into the spirit by making a few pairs of seasonal earrings, all cut from wood and inspired by classic Halloween shapes.

The collection includes a mix of playful ghosts and curious black cats. I made two different ghost designs: one with wide, wavy arms that looks like it’s floating through the air, and another with a sweet, smiling face that feels more friendly than frightening. Both are light as a feather, thanks to the wood, and they have a lovely natural texture that adds warmth to the simple black-and-white design.

The tiny black cat studs might be my favourites, though. Each little cat has its own pose — one stretching, one crouching, one ready to pounce — and together they make a perfectly mischievous Halloween set. The wood gives them a beautiful matte finish, which contrasts so nicely with the bright ghosts.

I love how these turned out — simple, seasonal, and full of character. They’re just the right touch of Halloween fun without being over the top. Whether you’re dressing up for a party or just adding a bit of spooky charm to your everyday outfit, these wooden earrings make it easy to celebrate the season in style.

Do you have a favourite — the friendly ghosts or the sneaky black cats?
